Laboratory results for our Shilajit

SGS reports cover composition and selected heavy metals in a submitted Shilajit sample. Alpine treats the sample as representative of its Shilajit material. This is not analysis of every ingredient in every finished Resin, Drops, Capsules or Gummies formula.

Fulvic and humic acid

  • Fulvic acid: 35.00 g/100 g
  • Humic acid: 15.00 g/100 g

Reported by SGS on 16 June 2026. These are composition measurements for the submitted sample, not a rating of effectiveness or a health-outcome claim.

Selected heavy metals

  • Arsenic: not detected; detection limit 5 PPM
  • Cadmium: not detected; detection limit 0.01%
  • Lead: not detected; detection limit 0.001%
  • Mercury: not detected; detection limit 1 PPM

Reported by SGS on 16 June 2026, using multi-acid digestion (AAS Flame/ICP OES), with testing performed by a subcontracted laboratory. Units are shown as printed in the report.

“Not detected” means below the report’s detection limit, not zero or free from every possible contaminant.

Which methods were used for the SGS composition results?

The June 2026 report lists ISO 5073:2021 for fulvic acid and ISO 19822:2018 for humic acid. It states that testing was performed by a subcontracted laboratory.

What other laboratory reports are available?

A June 2025 Eurofins Analytical Services India report covers arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury in a submitted Shilajit extract sample. It is a separate analysis, not a retest of the SGS sample.

What did the 2024 Bureau Veritas report show?

The historical report for Alpine Himalayan Shilajit in a 50g package recorded 82.37% fulvic acid and 11.27% humic acid using an in-house method. These are separate findings from the 2026 SGS results, not a combined product specification.

The reports concern different samples, dates and methods. Their difference alone does not establish a change in product quality or its cause.

Processing certifications

  • ISO 9001:2015: quality management for the stated Himalayan Shilajit processing operation.
  • ISO 22000:2018: food-safety management for that processing scope.
  • GMP: manufacturing-practice certification for the stated processing scope.
  • Halal: the stated processing and packing scope for Alpine Himalayan Shilajit.

These certificates describe systems or processing activities. They are separate from laboratory analysis of a sample and do not establish the composition of every finished formula.

Is the processing facility registered with the FDA?

The processing facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a food facility.
